We are excited to present A Journey Through Fundraiser Showcase 2024, honoring Ms Ella’s journey through her life, inclusive of a drastic onset of PVOD and a double lung transplant. This showcase is raising awareness and support for the Lung Transplant Assistance Fund at Mass General Hospital.

Come through August 20th to catch the LAST VIBE of summer 2023! Will it be groovy? Will it be the afro-fusion soca vibes? Or hot n’ steamy? You’ll have to show up to find out!

A Journey Through Dance Workshops
We are excited to bring you our first ever Dance Workshops series as a part of our A Journey Through Weekend 2023!
The night before we will be hosting a beautiful showcase that helps bring awareness to and fundraise for The Lung Transplant Assistance Fund at Mass General Hospital in honor of our founder and current director, Ms Ella, and her journey through a double-lung transplant almost 2 years ago.
We decided to expand off that night and offer free dance workshops to the public as a way to continue our work towards giving our communities what they deserve: access to the arts, health and wellness, joy, and nourishment for the soul!
We hope to see you in all of these workshops as each choreographer brings their own unique style and technique(s)!

A Journey Through 2023
A Journey Through is a night full of life, nourishment for the soul, and uplifting vibes! Everything about this fundraiser is rooted in holistic care and its intention to represent local artists and spaces.
From the the performers: vocalists and dancers, to its mission of bringing awareness and funding to those in need of double lung transplants via Mass General Hospital - one of the best transplant centers in this nation - A Journey Through is committed to centering the CARE that got Soca Fusion’s founder and director, Ms Ella, through her life, inclusive of a drastic onset of PVOD and a double lung transplant. Fortunately, with the support of a large and multifaceted village, she was able to get through and here she is now, ready to share CARE and a moment of relief and joy for others experiencing their journey through.

Fit Fete @ The Fierce Urgency of Now Festival
Soca Fusion presents FIT FETE! A class meant to leave you glowing in sweat! We start with a warm-up, testing your endurance while engaging and strengthening your muscles. Then jump into a joyful dance workout while enjoying the sounds and vibes of Soca music. You will be supported to push past your limits while encouraged to keep up with the pace and energy of the class.
Through Fit Fete, you will get exercise for both your physical and mental health while enjoying yourself, the music, and being in space with other BIPOC professionals. Fit Fete will connect young BIPOC with each other, embrace their inner selves, and understand what it means to pause intentionally for joy for their overall well-being.
Join us as we create and hold joyous space for BIPOC of the Boston and Greater Boston Area - rooted in Soca, Caribbean, and Carnival Culture. So come show up and show out to FIT FETE!

Carnivals are comin up and who doesn’t love to fete! Don’t you want to be ready for them? Ready for the vibes, the winin, and the pace of it all?!
Well our Master Fete Experience gives you a taste of the fete life while helping you prepare for it physically and mentally. You get a dope warm up, nonstop movement, choreography centered in Afrocentric styles, and by the end you’ll be glowing in sweat! Exactly how you can leave a fete!
And did we mention… We’re on the BEACH this time! We’re providing flags if you don’t bring ya own! Limited Soca Fusion Apparel will be sold on site! Anddd we have our very own Dj Trigga Tre providing the tunes!!!

Soca Fusion presents our first annual dance and wellness conference: LYTYP (Live Your Truth Through Your Passion). Come join BIPOC led dance and wellness workshops, to bring us closer to our joy, love, and free!
